Is anyone making money selling scrapbooking items on EBAY?
I seem not to be doing so well selling scrapbooking items on EBAY. I keep my prices below everyone elses and I sell top line products. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or is sales down for everyone that is trying to sell on EBAY?

The key is to sell products that cannot be bought in stores. It is hard to compete with the sales in retail stores. Good luck!

What are some tips for writing eBay ads that sell?
I never seem to have much luck in selling items on eBay, when I am putting things up for auction (not just selling them as a buy-it-now item). I always end up getting screwed over and losing money. The last time I posted an item (a brand new top-selling DVD), I made practically nothing for it. Why are others so successful? What might I be doing wrong? Can anyone help me?

Always put a photo on the auction. Set a reserve price to make sure you get a profit. A reserve price means that it has to sell for that price or higher. Also, be sure to charge enough for shipping, so you don’t lose there. Also, use paypal to accept payment.
In the heading be sure to put as Much as you can think of to help people find your item. Think of the words you would use to search for the item. The more people see it, the better. I would have put the brand ex: New Panasonic DVD player w/ 5 disc changer
if something is used, tell the condition.
Search similar items to see how people list them. Also, to see what they are selling for and how much people charge for shipping.
Be sure to offer a return policy where the buyer is responsible for shipping costs each way. Put a 5 day Limit on returns, too.
