How do I sell items on Amazon or Ebay? Can someone help me out please?
I’m completely clueless on how to sell things on ebay or amazon. There are so many things I’d love to sell, but I don’t know how to do it. Is it easy? Is it free to sell things or will I have to pay something?
Linda R: What are you talking about? Of course you can sell on Amazon. There is an option on the side that reads “Sell yours here” meaning sell your item by clicking on the option.

You don’t pay per se on Amazon. Amazon must sell that item in order for you to sell yours. You can create a page of a new item but that does involve money and being a power seller so we will stick to the basics. Once you find your item make sure it is the exact thing. I usually just type in the UPC code but however, make sure its the same. Click the ‘Sell yours here’ and fill in the drop down boxes. Look to see what others are charging to get a basic idea of what you want to charge. Its normal to try to be the lowest but you’ll sometimes get people who try to top you and the next thing you know you’ll be paying someone to buy it. Amazon charges a commission plus 99 cents after it sells so there is no upfront fee. Keep in mind the cost to ship and packaging, you can figure that by weighing it and going to USPS postage calculator (link below). Right before you list it Amazon will tell you the amount they will give you. Deduct shipping costs and see if your happy, otherwise edit your selling price.
Don’t forget to adhere to the guidelines for Used vs New. And give good descriptions of your item. Its better to be as honest as possible because feedback is important.

Ive used Craigslist and kijiji but it only lets my post to certain cities.

Try a traffic exchange, using your link to those pages as your website address. Two I use that are very successful are
http://www.clickvoyager.com
and
http://www.ad-ventures4u.com
the first is a free exchange. you put in the address of your website and you do have to look at others sites to get traffic to yours.
The second is a way to get traffic and advertise but you can make money at that as well.

What type of fees does ebay charge you to sell your items on their website?
I just want to sell my Dooney & Bourke purses and I have about six different type of purses that I rarely used. I want to know how much exactly does ebay charge you for listing fees and fees for when your item sells. Does ebay charge you other hidden fees. I also would like to sign up with them, but in order to do so they want me to verify my identity and set up an account using a credit card but I don’t have one. Is there any Other ways I can verify myself and set up an account without using a credit card. What about pay pal? Do they charge you too!
Are there any tricks to making my items sell, and are there other free selling websites?

They charge you 35 cents if you list under 9.99 and you get one picture. Every picture after that is 15 cents and if you sell an item you get fees and paypal charges for transactions.
